Talk about a slice of heaven! This place is AWESOME. The rooms have recently been remodeled and are very tastefully decorated. The rooms are equipped with a micro, keurig coffee maker and small fridge.
All rooms have a river view and access to a huge, beautiful patio. The prices are reasonable and the staff was more than accommodating.
If you're looking for a great place to stay when in canyon lake, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!
Recent visit was awesome! The owners remodeled their family rooms. They look amazing. If you have stayed or have seen the old rooms, you will be more than impressed by the remodel.

Absolutely beautiful property right on the water. We stayed middle of July and there were fire flies every night. the rooms are nice and clean. the management was very nice and attentive.
There is a nice pool if you don't want to spend all your time in the river. It was nice being able to put in right at the start of the float and just pay a service to bring us back when we were done.
This is my new favorite spot on the horseshoe. best view of the river I've had so far. I will definitely be back again.

Second time staying and no complaints considering this is a no frills riverfront lodge. I was first hesitant to give 5 stars but you have to realize it is not a 5 star hotel. Friendly Easy check-in with reasonable cancellation policy. Rooms were clean, had nice Texas wall decorations, and the facilities you need. Meaning a bed, bath, table, TV, coffee maker and fridge. It has grills, a pool, and nice benches overlooking the river for morning coffee or evening wine. Great walking distance to Whitewater Amphitheater for shows and literally on the river for tubing.

Wendy and her husband are amazing hosts! The hotel is quaint and absolutely beautiful! We stayed here on the first leg of a 4 day motorcycle ride. They let us check in early. The next morning we had a bike break down and they let us stay late until we could know if we would be able to hit the road. We decided to spend one more night here. The rooms open up to the back deck that faces the river. The pool is COLD! The rooms so clean and decorated adorably. It's perfect for a get away. If I could give them 10 🌟I would! We will be back! We can't thank them enough for being so accommodating!

This place is FABULOUS! The owners are true gems, the rooms are cute and the location cannot be beat. Also, the outdoor seating area was beautiful. Great place to eat your dinner or finish the night with a few card games. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing place to stay! Genuine, kind staff. Rooms are great in furnishings and excellent, new double-paned windows (no noise), great back area on the river, and you can start your tubing there (if you are a guest; secret fact!). Grills, including a flattop on the patio area. Top notch, and very reasonable as well.

We find ourselves returning to this gem on the Guadalupe River! It's about a 1 hour drive from South Austin which is a great getaway for us. You can drop your tube in right at the foot of the lodge. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Very serene setting with birds and we even saw an owl last summer! Grills, pool, and tube inflator device available here as well. The owners are very kind and friendly. We will return again soon and highly recommend to all!

Took my daughter there for a few days, it was our second trip in 2 years. We are going to make it an annual trip. This place is amazing! Great rooms, beautiful grounds, right on the river! Doc and Wendy are so wonderful and helpful!! I totally recommend Horseshoe Riverside Lodge!

Great place to stay right on the Guadalupe River. The room was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on ( I have a bad back so this is important to me). Wendy was a great source for information about the area and made sure we had a great stay.
